WHAT IS RIMBIT?

Rimbit is a CRYPTOCURRENCY.

WHAT IS CRYPTOCURRENCY?

CryptoCurrency is money, plain and simple. It is just harder to think of it that way, because you can’t fold it up and put it in your pocket. Think of it as digital money.

SO ITS LIKE PAYPAL OR THE STARBUCKS APP ON MY PHONE?

No. Even though you can use PayPal or an App to pay for something, the money in those accounts is a regional currency, like a US dollar, or Euro, or British Pound. Digital money maintains its “value” or “rate”, around the world. So a Rimbit is the same in Canada, as it is in Uganda. No exchange rates or fees.

IF IT IS DIGITAL, HOW DO I HOLD ON TO IT?

Just like cash money or credit cards. With a wallet. You download the appropriate digital wallet for your computer. It then generates something called a wallet address. Think of this like a bank account number. You can have multiple bank account numbers in a single wallet, to keep your money separate for various needs. For example, you may generate a wallet address to start saving money in for an upcoming trip.
